Amy Hoffmann is a certified Pilates instructor, movement specialist and former professional dancer. For over ten years, she has performed, taught and choreographed in Asia, Europe, and the US. She is experienced in teaching dance and movement to all age groups and levels of ability. Her Pilates teacher training with Tom McCook included yoga and resistive stretching, and she is certified through the PhysicalMind Institute, based in New York City. She is also certified in the Franklin Method by internationally recognized movement teacher Eric Franklin. Amy co-owns Studio 4 Pilates with Catherine Anderson.

Catherine Anderson has been studying movement for over 20 years. As a dancer, she was introduced to Pilates for conditioning and injury prevention. While attending college, Catherine earned an internship at BodyWorks Studio in Tucson, Arizona to study the Ron Fletcher Work. Upon receiving her B.A. in dance from the University of Arizona she began a movement teaching career in ballet and Pilates. In 1997, Catherine was recognized as a qualified teacher of the Ron Fletcher Work. She has attended numerous seminars and workshops over the last 10 years and is a senior facilitator for the Ron Fletcher Program of Study and PMA certified. Catherine co-owns Studio 4 Pilates with Amy Hoffmann.

Kerri Boroos is originally from Denver, but has lived in Half Moon Bay for the last eleven years. She is a Qualified teacher of the Ron Fletcher Work certified in Level I and II. Prior to her Pilates career, she sailed competitevly for 10 years, and worked as a corporate sales representative in the telecommunications industr. In addition to Pilates, Kerri is a professional photographer specializing in outdoor work, pilates photos, and pet photography! Christy Crowley is a recent transplant to the Bay Area from Tucson, Arizona were she received her BFA in dance from the University of Arizona. While in Tuscon she also completed her Level I Pilates Certification from the Ron Fletcher Program of Study and has since finished her Level II Pilates Certification. Christy is an inspiring teacher and an expert in movement.
Susie Whipp has been a professional movement educator, choreographer, and performance coach since the 1970s and is inspired by how the Pilates work enriches peoples' lives. Susie's classic Pilates training began in the early 1990s with Jennifer Stacey. She went on to fall in love with the depth of the Fletcher Pilates approach, and most recently earned her certification from the Ron Fletcher Program of Study through Studio 4 Pilates in Half Moon Bay. A long-time Dance professional, Susie concurrently is a Professor of Dance and serves as the Coordinator of the Dance BA Program in the School of Music and Dance at San Francisco State University. Her BS, MA, and MFA degrees were granted from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.


Linda Grace Frost
is a multi-disciplined Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga AllianceHer most influential teachers are Judith Lasater, PT, PHD and Elise Miller in the Iyengar tradition and Deborah Koehn. She specializes in the therapeutic applications of yoga drawing from a degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education, a former career as a body worker, and her work in prevention and rehabilitation of dance injuries. She has also designed pre-natal fitness programs and teaches folk dance--two things that combined to create the only known all pregnant folk dance group. In addition to teaching yoga at Studio 4 Pilates, she teaches folk dance with the Alfred Lord Tennyson Dancing and Literary Society, sing soprano with the M'EarthTones Choir and leads commumity healing and celebratory rituals in the Dagara tradition.


Lauren Campodonico believes that building the mind body connection provides the ultimate benefits in movement. Lauren is a Ron Fletcher certified teacher and loves to remain in perpetual motion. Lauren grew up dancing ballet and became interested in yoga and pilates while attending college at UCSB. After graduating with a degree in Environmental Science she moved to Maui where her Pilates practice helped her body awareness in surfing and mountain biking. Lauren enjoys sharing her love for Pilates with her clients! If shes not in the studio shes probably playing outside!

Karen Holmes loves to swim, bike, walk, waterski and snow ski and has been a fitness instructor since 2001. She began studying Pilates after discovering how it helped her move more efficiently and safely, She is mat certified by the PhysicalMind Institute, and completed Level I in the Ron Fletcher Program of Study.
Kim Salera has completed the Ron Fletcher Program of Study Level I program and is working toward her Level II Certification. Pilates has been a part of her life since 1999. Kim is also an accomplished equestrian; she owns two horses and competes in eventing, dressage and show jumping. She also loves to travel and will be in China and Tibet later this summer.
Susan A. Miller is an RN and Certified Feldenkrais® Teacher with 30 years experience in the healthcare field.
Susan is also certified in Craniosacral Therapy and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy both of which inform her primary work as a Feldenkrais® Teacher. Her teaching is also infused by her many years of experience with hospice care and home health work, particularly with individuals holding chronic pain. Her extensive training and experience allows her to support a wide and varied public, offering beneficial care and instruction to a broad spectrum of individuals, from those with serious chronic pain to persons simply looking to improve quality of movement.
Marlene Gomez graduated from Half Moon Bay High School in 2004 and is currently a student at College of San Mateo. She is part of a program called Hope Services which helped her find Studio 4 Pilates. She enjoys working in the office where she further develops her clerical skills. Studio 4 Pilates loves having her smiling face in our office!

 

Andrea "Drea" Roberts has enjoyed teaching Pilates for the last five years. In Seattle, Washington, she studied the classical method of Pilates, otherwise known as Romana's Pilates. She also holds a Bachelor's in Social Work and a Minor in Dance. She has worked with various clients, including dancers, athletes, supermoms, and your everyday person that just wants to move again. In addition, she has experience working with injuries such as scoliosis, lower back pain, herniated discs, knee and hip replacements. She focuses on having proper form and correct alignment, yet keeps her clients moving so they may get the most out of their session. Known for her listening caring, fun and challenging workouts, she encourages those she works with to always include movement in their daily lives. Drea is currently studying to get her MA in Special Education at NDNU.
